Humanity is going to do what humanity is going to do. For 7,000 ish years of “civilized” society, we have been ravaging one another and judging our neighbors by their skin color, last name, gender, etc- Whatever juvenile alien’s science experiment we were, that kid didn’t get anything above a D Plus- It’s like they took the animal out of the cave, added some features, and left all of the rest alone- So we still have those animalistic passions and rages and fears that override our cognizant selves- It’s like the domesticated dog compared to a wolf… not much difference-

Just 50/60 years ago I would wager 80% or more of the population was racist and most assuredly sexist- It’s ludicrous to think that in that short span of time, we’re going to change into a completely different way of viewing ourselves, and giving up any built in superiority we are born with- Think about the older relatives you know and/or remember that exhibited these traits- Did they change their way of thinking, ever? No, they didn’t, and this was passed on to us- You can rooster up and say you chose to not accept that racism and misogyny, but it is in you somewhere unfortunately, I guarantee it- It’s not your fault and it’s not your ancestors’  fault; it is what this species has been doing since beofre recorded history, and when some lunatic politician comes along and voices all those fears… well you know the rest- That percentage may have gone down over the past 50 or 60 years as we’ve been forced to look ourselves in the mirror, but it is a lot easier to instead look over the fence and blame those lesbians, thugs, fags, and foreigners for your troubles- Again, that’s what we have been doing throughout our entire existence, including when we were apes stealing mates and eating each other’s faces off-
